Prepaid card market has been growing steadily in China. New target areas and usage are emerging which are expected to witness increased innovation as competition intensifies.
The prepaid card market, in terms of transaction volume, posted a CAGR of 6.3% during 2012-2016 to reach 91,432.6 million in 2016. Over the forecast period, the transaction volume is expected record a CAGR of 4.4%, reaching 114,393.4 million by 2021 from 96,415.9 million in 2017.
Chinese aviation services provider Deer Jet has launched Care Plus, a new prepaid fixed base operator (FBO) services card to make payments smoother and faster at its eight FBOs and nine airports in the country.
Designed to provide an additional level of service for managed aircraft clients, Care Plus card is offered in four tiers starting from deposit amount of CNY300,000 (Elite Card) to CNY1 million (Platinum Card) with each tier offering discounts on its services such as ground handling, ramp agents, aircraft cleaning and, for foreign-registered flights, aircraft agents. Other benefits of the card include free FBO crew transportation and usage of FBO ramp supervisor service.
Through Care Plus card, the company will assist customers in securing license, permit and priority parking VIP ground service, and free aircraft cleaning. It will also offer advantages in maintenance, offering priority status to Care Plus members, cost savings and provision of specialized tools.
